Applebee's Grill - Escondido

We go here ALL THE TIME. This place is awesome because it has great staff, good food, doesn't complain if we come for tea only, and is open longer than 8pm. 8pm is no time to close a restaurant, people! Only request, if you could serve a better variety of teas. Costs a couple of bucks and you could make people very happy. My friend had to drink hot water with lemon yesterday because they had only one kind of tea (the cheapest possible) that she couldn't drink. Otherwise, great place.

Visited on 11/2/21 with 3 others. Arrived at 5:28pm. Although it was fairly crowded, we were seated almost immediately. Our server asked what they could get us to drink, and we received our drinks and ordered within 10 mins (5:38). Since it was busy, and that it was half off apps still, (3-6pm, or 9 to closing for half apps), we knew it would take a little longer. We received our appetizers (Mozzarella Sticks, and Brew Pretzel sticks with beer cheese dip) at 5:52pm. At 6:08, the server let us know that food should be done and sent out soon. Received our food at 6:15pm. As for the food, everything was fine. The Combo platter was all fresh and delicious with more mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadilla, spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, boneless wings sauced with garlic parmesan and side celery. BOneless wings with the buffalo sauce was great too with a healthy mild spiciness. The chicken wonton tacos were all fine and dandy and flavorful too. Food was seasoned well and priced fairly with fair portions. We were eating good in the neighborhood Applebees. Thanks for reading!

Left something very valuable and expensive at our table last night, luckily staff was super friendly and immediately started looking all surrounding areas. Employees even went out of their way to look through every possible way it could’ve been disposed. Wish I could’ve gotten the names of the employees who helped but I can not thank you guys enough! I really Appreciated it! Above and Beyond customer service

Good food. Friendly service. Reasonable price. I love the Oriental Chicken Salad at Applebee's. It's always a reliable fill.

Our waitress was Paula it was her second day. She was pretty nervous, but she was sweet and she did a good job. My burger and the classic appetizers tray was tasty. My husband had the prime rib dip was just okay. Overall we had a nice experience
