I loved the taste and loved the bread. I've been in Escondido for a couple of weeks, looking for a food that tastes like at home. We tried the Shawerma and the Kababab, the taste was mouthwater, the part was good. It is definitely worth trying. We were 3 and our bill no more than 40 View all feedback.
What Marquise Schumm doesn't like about Ali Baba Mediterranean Cuisine Of Escondido:
First time eating here. I ordered a chicken salad to go. Although the chicken was plentiful and good, along with the dressing. This was far from a good authentic Mediterranean salad. 2 black olives and maybe one Roma tomato. Very small chopped romaine lettuce and very small chopped cucumber. Definitely not worth $20. I will not be back. Not to mention, the service was not great. View all feedback.
We ordered a family plate, so much food and everything delicious!! We had 5 adults and 3 children and had 3 more boxes left. They even offered to put our birthday cake in the refrigerator. Service was super friendly and crazy fast. We were so full, we had problems to go.?
The place had great food at a great price. I've never tried Mediterranean food for the Trio Combo. It was Rindsalwarma, Chickentikka and Lambkabobs. Everything in taste, but we are made. The beef looked like it was originally ground beef in pieces to put the spit. The chicken tikka led me to believe it would be like tikka masala, but that was very different. It wasn't paired with a sauce like tikka masala. The chicken tikka wasn't my favorite, but I'm happy for the variety in meat. It was served with yellow rice, a very vinegar salad (not to my taste) and a HUGE nan bread. It was a lot of food and so good tasting food. The place itself was quiet and empty to 3 other cabins. I stopped on a Saturday afternoon, and it had rained. But I enjoyed the rest. The waitress wasn't disturbing either. She was right and fast to get my order out. I've been trying this place for some time and I'm glad I did. Try this place for a pleasant experience!

First time dining at Ali Baba. My partner and I ordered the Family Classic platter for 2. We swapped out the cream chicken chop for chicken shawarma. The platter comes with an abundance of food. I would say enough for 3 people. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I have is we were offered more Ali Baba bread and didn't receive it. But other than that, everything was good and very delicious. Highly recommend this place.
My husband and I shared the family classic...Oh my goodness!!! That was one of the best meals we have had in a long time! And SO much food! We took about 1/3 of it home and will have it for tomorrow's dinner. You must have the Ali Baba bread with homemade hummus! We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Our waitress was also very sweet.
