We were going to eat there because we wanted to eat flaming. This tasted excellent. However, we have experienced the ambiance as a temper. We've experienced the service as exhausted. Hello dear tripadvisor community!Here now my little review "to the swan":I am amazed at the sometimes really bad reviews about the swan. I can't almost understand this, it's not (!) star gastronomy, but simply a rustic Rhenish village pub that also offers warm food. the wet is solon, a grieche that has already become an institution in weisweiler. the service is great and the atmosphere is very family - so the (for the price very good) eating is prepared by the Greek family itself. the kitchen is a mixture of typical German and Greek cuisine. you get everything from the baked feta to the carving. the previously criticized pizza is also very good, however it is just a pizza Greek art and these differ naturally from their Italian pendants. And for the invited prices I consider the criticism of my prescribe to be absolutely inappropriate. Conclusion: a great pub with super atmosphere and good kitchen. Therefore, I also forgive the highest score; if you simply look for a few beers in a more sociable round with delicious food, then you are right at solon. here is just right for the called (very low) price. so some should perhaps simply lower their claims to a realistic dimension.

We had lust on ne pizza, and we would have left it better. if you sell food you should make it love or leave it with something. the service had no real pleasure selling. cleanliness is always a thing for itself and that one who sees it. otherwise I can only say, pub with kitchen in the normal version.

Cheap cheerful pizza and pasta restaurant. They make very good pizza, I had a vegetarian one with peppers, tomatoes, rocket, all fresh on a good crispy base. The restaurant is very quiet because the hotel is not directly in the town centre, where there are a lot of restaurants. They mostly do takeaway service (which was busy all evening). There´s a small rather neglected terrace outside behind the hotel with four or five tables, a pleasant view of gardens, hills and woodland beyond the town. Inside quite elegant for a pizzeria, there are photos on the Hotel Schwan website. Staff friendly, family run.
