I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the friendly staff and welcoming clientele. The beer selection is impressive; I tried the UPA (Upper Peninsula Ale) and really enjoyed it. However, I had some trouble with Google not geolocating the location.
Had a great time at Upper Hand today on our way through the area! Great atmosphere and loved the live music. Gary definitely knows his stuff, wasn’t sure which to try and explained what I liked and didn’t like and the picks he did were spot on! The pear cider was my favorite!!
My wife and I were in last night and Gary was very helpful. We weren't sure what to to try so, he asked what style that we would normally drink and he gave us both a perfect flight. Gary is very knowledgeable when it come to beer. If you like a dark beer, try the Escanaba Black Beer.
I stopped in yesterday and Gary helped me pick the perfect flight of beers. I love the new mech I bought.
