Had dinner here and the staff was very helpful. I got the chimichanga with pork verde and it was huge. It comes with rice and beans plus chip and salsa. That's a lot of food for the price. Overall a solid choice to eat View all feedback.
What Thomas R doesn't like about Canyons Mexican Grill:
Very average Mexican food. Tried it twice and was lackluster both times. Food is very bland and beans can be watery. We were suggested their signature dish of chicken enchiladas. Felt they were very average View all feedback.

I don't have high hopes for the restaurant in these really small towns but this was disappointing even considering my low expectations. There are only 5 things on the menu. I had a burrito, it had just chicken in it. The chicken in the burrito was the only good thing about dinner. The rice and beans were awful. My boyfriend had the street tacos and were pretty sure the meat was boiled. They don't have their liquor license yet so no beer. The ambiance is a joke. It is just an empty event space.
This is a simple, tasty and inexpensive restaurant. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture on my burrito or my wife's chimmychanga. They are huge and very attractive as well as tasty!

This is NOT just a mexican restaurant as advertised. It has burger and other American type foods. The waitress was very nice and helpful! They were busier than normal so they ran out of the meat for all the mexican dishes (small town? . Not a big deal, they put chicken in the burrito, which was good and juicy. The burrito only had chicken and cheese in the burrito? I don't know if that's normal. The beans were from a can, the tortilla was probably a mission tortilla and the rice tasted like it was from a premade Spanish rice box. They chips and salsa was good. Wouldn't go back.
