Tandoori Palace

Food was great! Had chicken Vindaloo and I would really recommand it. I was in India before so I guess I know what I'm talking about :

It's a small but nice place...first time in denmark and the first pakistani food I had was here, and it was really good...coming from Iceland, where they have the great pakistani restaurant Shalimar. I was a bit hesitant to taste but it was really. the owner's a very friendly people. Husband and wife work there together and it created a very cosy atmosphere.

I have been visiting the TANDOORI PALACE in Esbjerg some times. The menu is great there is somthing for evrybody. You can order special og take the buffet. You can ask for spicis and the crew is very helpful. I can rekomend the Garlic bred as a starter (if you like garlic)

The restaurant is small but clean and tidy, I would suggest if you have more than 4 persons wanting to eat then a booking in advance as there are limited tables for 4 or more persons. Food is very tasty and of very big portion, I had the vegetarian biriyani which is enough for 2 persons, no rice needed either as this comes with the biriyani. My friends had the butter chicken and said it was amazing. Service came with a smile and the English was very good to. A little gem of a restaurant which we will be returning to

We tried this once as take away and the food was good (although the mixed up the order so I had to wait for them to redo it). Food and taste is great we just didn't feel we got a lot for the price. If you love Indian food it is great, otherwise I think there are better take away food options in Esbjerg.
