More of a bar than a restaurant. They do little lunch snacks but not proper food for an evening meal.

Currently staying over the road at Marina Parc, its soooooo busy the hotel cant cope, we are into our second week and have been coming here everynight since we arrived thankgoodness this place is here, it has enterainment on everynight, the food and drinks bill very reasonalbe and have to say this place has made our holiday for the evenings. Highly recommend this place and if we lived here this would be our local.

Quiet little eatery in the Cosa Nova development just up from the Aguamarina- about 5 minutes from the sandy beach. Lara is an excellent waitress. Live music on Thursday evenings.

It is my pleasure to be able to write the first review for Can Guixó. Situated in the commercial centre in Coves Noves, Can Guixó opens at 07:00 and stays open till late. Whilst on holiday, I started my day there with an early morning coffee croissant whilst I read the local papers and checked my e-mails using the free Wi-Fi. Now in its second year under the management of Toni, Can Guixó is a family concern that Toni runs with the help of his parents Jaime and Toñi who for many years successfully managed Bar Es Raco in nearby Na Macaret. Inside there is a large centre bar similar to an old fashioned East End Pub, which is ideal to stand and chat or to sit watching the football on the large screen TV’s. When Barcelona is playing the bar quickly fills up prior to kick off with local residents who are passionate about their ‘local’ team. Outside, the terrace area has a mixture of tables, chairs and comfy sofas where twice a week Toni puts on live music with local bands entertaining the customers from 21:00 till late into the night. Toni prides himself on the fact his bar stocks over one hundred different brands of beer and his generous measures of Gin Tonic are very reasonably priced. If you get peckish they also serve authentic tapas and baguettes throughout the day. A short walk from Arenal d’en Castell, Can Guixó with its safe, family friendly environment makes it the ideal place for a family night out. When you visit Can Guixó you will notice guitars hanging on the walls, they are there for the customers to use and musicians of various skill levels regularly strike up a tune. Can Guixó is a great bar to visit for breakfast, lunch or late night entertainment. Highly Recommended
