We tried burnout bbq for the first time since moving to Erwin. Food was absolutely amazing! I have a thing for nachos and these pork nachos were on point. We will definitely be eating here more often. View all feedback.
What Jeff Lovelace doesn't like about Burnout Bbq And Grille Food Truck:
Drove from Asheville to eat here and the food truck was locked up. Rang the bell and no one answered. Filled up my bike at the BP @1068 N Main Ave in Erwin, and left for Asheville. I was told they are working on an empty building nextdoor, so they can put a restaurant in it. I don't know if this is true. Disappointed! Not what you might expect... Everyone we spoke to recommended Haufbrauhaus as the best place for authentic German cuisine in town, but that wasn't the case! We also heard about Hofer's bakery for breakfast; it was good, but not exceptional. Two hidden gems surpassed them: Mueller's fried cheese offered the best breakfast, and Bodensee provided the most authentic German food. At Bodensee, the service felt personal; the owner greets you and shows you to your table. The waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly—shoutout to Lilith and Donia!
We had difficulty finding the restaurant! All we came across was a food truck, which wasn't what we were looking for. We drove around the block a few times, but unfortunately, we still couldn’t locate it.
