There are some tapas bars in the area, but La Barca doesn't manage to kick out. But this is mosquitoes at a high level there is a great choice, I also think there are more frequent changes. Taste very good, and well seasoned : atmosphere is very pleasant, many young people here, but you must almost roar if you want to talk (because of all the conversations it is quite loud. Nice and sweet atmosphere. The food is tasty, but the portions are a bit small for the prices. Coffee and drinks are well done too. Gateau is really tasty and when you have an espresso you'll always get some biscuits with water just like in Italy. Highly recommend also for the welcoming mood that Stefania and the other workers have.
I've had the pleasure of having lunch at this beautiful Italian cafe in the centre of Erlangen and both my friend (British and myself (Italian literally fell in love with the place, with the food, 100% Italian, and with the lovely owner Stefania, who prepares herself all the cakes and pastries. We've had the traditional parmigiana di melanzane (aubergines and a sort of pizza bread with original neapolitan friarielli (OMG yes! with mozzarella. The coffee was delicious too from a famous neapolitan brand, Caffè Borbone and last but not least we had the traditional Zeppola di San Giuseppe and the biscotto all'amarena to take away. I felt like at home today, what a fantastic experience!

Large coffee, delicious sweets, eat locally and friendly atmosphere! I can recommend stefanias caf to everyone. a stck italian I like to come back
