While some might argue that the price is too expensive, I can't actually agree with that. At all the other ice cream parlours the ice cream gets more expensive every year, while the scoops stay the same size. At the Eishaus, the price stayed exactly the same, while the scoops are gigantic! The flavours change every once in a while, and while there are never as many flavours as at other places, you will always find at least one that is to your liking. And trust me when I say you will only need 1 2 scoops! It's slightly off the beaten track, but it's perfect to grab an ice cream and take a stroll through the park afterwards. Love it!

The Eishaus is THE place to go when you 're looking for some quality ice cream in Erlangen. For one Euro per scoop(which is the same as everywhere else you receive a scoop that easily compares to 3-4 normal sized scoops in other places... and it tastes amazing! I remember coming here the first time a few years back and buying two scoops (because that 's what I buy everywhere else. and receiving a huge mound of ice cream in a cone that tasted absolutely delicious! They change their flavors every few weeks, so you always have 12 different types to chose from.. I 've eaten some really weird things here! Just this morning I tried poppyseed-joghurt/choc chip, which was great! So if you 're in Erlangen go to this place near the Bohlenplatz and enjoy a cone, you 'll love it!
