located in the ancient, this restaurant is definitiw a must if they like carving. there are some variations and the size of the part is incredible. the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. the price is more than fair...(actually, it could be considered favorable if compared to other similar restaurants in the region.) tipp: I recommend ordering a half part if they are not starving. it's huge! What Hugh Leannon doesn't like about Drei Linden:
View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant with my friend for lunch on a Sunday. interior is clean and welcoming. the personal is friendly and warm. the quality of the food was extremely high, my friend had a pork with the most delicious horse food I have. every taste in my life. portion size is extremely generous. the prices are extremely reasonable given the quality of food, I would even go so far that the price could possibly be slightly increased and still be better than many other restaurants of similar kind. my friend and I would definitely go back. highly recommended.
Very good place to eat typical German food! I went there two times during a business trip and tried the bratwurtz with potatoes and with sourded herb and it was excellent! my friends tried the carving and it was also very good. there is. also a lot of food in their teller and the price is very correct (9-10€ total)

A great local restaurant with some famous decor. ideal place for a family meal, but if they are not obtained from, it is far away from the beaten stretch approx. 2kms from the center, but worth the trip if they want the real thing without paying too much. it is always hectic and busy that is part of the charm.
This place was recommended to me because of the huge schnitzels and as some friend were visiting and one wanted a schnitzel, the choice was clear. It was Sunday, lunch time, so the place was pretty packed and the waiters were busy. The lunch menu...wasn't that long and it turned out that several alternatives were already out. No, problem, I wanted a schnitzel. When ordering, the waiter asked if I want a half or a whole portion, and looked a bit strange when I answered to be wanting a whole one. The food arrived very quickly, they probably had everything prepared pretty much ready. My portion consisted of not one, but two schnitzels, both almost of the size of the plate, and a small pile of fries. From that, I managed only the half, and the rest had to be taken with us. But it looked that in every table people were packing large amounts of leftovers with. So, at least plenty. Too bad the taste wasn't that great: the main impression was fat, in which the food was cooked in.But overall, you get plenty in return for your money.
