We had a great experience at the restaurant located in the Esso gas station. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and it felt like a homecooked meal. They also serve lunch and dinner, but with a limited menu. We ordered the breakfast which came with ice cream, hash browns, toast, meat, and unlimited coffee/tea for a reasonable price. Cheeseburger & homemade fried/gravy. Good place to stop on our travels. Reasonable prices. We've been stopping here over 15 years and the food is always good.
Diner in the Esso gas station. Friendly, yummy, and filling homecooked breakfast (they serve lunch & dinner too.) Standard, short menu you'd expect. We got the breakfast special with 2 eggs, hash browns, toast, meat, and unlimited coffee/tea for about $8 CAD. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is located behind the ESSO gas station. Good sized portions along with fresh homemade pies when available. Convenient location to stop when going to, or returning from the northern part of the Interlake along Highway 6. We have stopped here on several occasions for lunch or breakfast and the meals have always been well prepared and as ordered. The gas station portion now also serves ready to take Chester Chicken meals for those that are on the go.
Visited while travelingThe waitstaff was very friendly, took excellent care of my kids, and the food was great.
I eat a lot of Indian food and this was pretty good stuffWe went for a late night dinner after a day of Parisian fun; very spur of the moment.
