Stopped by for the first time for a late lunch on a beautiful Father's Day Sunday. The setting and outdoor dining areas are great good view and comfortable furniture with umbrellas or a hard roof over one deck. The outside decks and bar were full but the rest of the inside of the restaurant was empty. The wait staff seemed to be hustling but service was a bit slow (we weren't in any hurry). Came here to celebrate my niece's birthday, party of nine. Asked for separate checks, which they said they wouldn't do, and 20% would be added for gratuity. We paid check amount, then we're accosted in parking lot for not leaving tip. You said gratuity would be added to check, but didn't do it. Took my 92 year old friend there for lunch. Pot roast was excellent. He had the Italian sausage. We both highly recommend and we will be back. Nice view of the lake if you can get a table outside.
Beautiful deck overlooking the lake, with a nice breeze even on a warm day. All our food was delicious I even had to ask if the chef was from the South, bc the southern fried chicken was SO good! My husband loved his burger, and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was prompt and friendly. It was our first time there, and we will be back!
Super busy night but service was great and my portabello mushroom burger was delicious.
I love the place, great management and friendly service, never been disappointed. My favorite restaurant!
