What Deshawn Lynch doesn't like about Barbato's Italian Restaurant:
2 times in a row my pizza was undercooked and hardly had any cheese when I asked for extra cheese both times. Used to have one by my house and they were the best!.
Eating is delicious. I'm not sure the pizza lover has unfriendly hours. could be a product of pandemic, but I would like to add some details. You can't knock it. not yet offer indoor seating and the place is closed too early, but others than they are spectacular.
For an affordable good local shop, always decent. Not a craft pizza shop but usually pretty consistent. Pasta usually ehhh but meatballs if fresh are good. We do get this fairly frequently.
My husband used to eat at the downtown location 30+ years ago when he was in the PA National Guard. Since we were in the area we decided to give the newer location a try. We were glad we did. The food was delicious. He had the chicken parm and I had the baked rigatoni. Both were HUGE portions that we ended up eating the leftovers for lunch the next day. My only complaint was that they don 't have table service after 2pm. We will be back when we are in the area because I want to try their pizza.
Need later dining room hours. They don'deliver to my area and dining room closed at 2 in the afternoon the day we were there.
Barbatos special sub is nothing like it used to be. Store won't take orders sometimes 1hr. Before closing! And they're not busy.
