Stopped at a stunning lookout above and spotted this little gem below. Great place to have a coffee and something to eat and watch the boys of the surf school do their thing. Service was prompt and prices economical. Vicki Sydney Australia View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ribeira D'Ilhas Surf Restaurant & Bar:
The food is really nice but every single time it takes quite sometime to take your order and get your food. But you will be on holiday so just sit, relax and enjoy the nice seaside view. View all feedback.
We were a party of 7 my niece and family from Great Britain and had therefore a great table outside. I asked about menu. He pointed on barcode at the corners of the table, strange enough, I didn't. a posh phone to read a barcode menu, how about a plastic? said, rude to go and see one outside the main doors. niece and husband had corresponding phones so that then a ridiculous amount of time while they click on that and the other for the options to which the children were drilled rigidly. the waiter reappeared to order drinks. the most recent limonade given limonade was incredible. we think it was a fully liquidated lemon and then some. impossible for everyone to drink. eating was nothing special for the money in the did, had better in coffee shops in the center. it was very disappointing and keeping less interested was obvious. kellner also hike with mask half away. it would not recommend if it gets new management and personal who care about eating and the customers. also on the table no sanitising!
It is incredible how much potential a place like this has and how bad the service and eating is! the employees are inexperienced, rude and do not care about the customers at all. the burger was completely dry and the fraught cold. terrible experience. never comes back.
The personal is incredibly rude and arrogant. it's slower service and it feels like they don't want her to use. Not to mention eating and drinking is overpriced and poor. I wouldn't advise anyone to visit here as you feel like home and don't return. if zero stars were an option, I would choose that.
Food was mediocre and took forever to arrive, even for portuguese standards. Waiter forgot one of the dishes, which then took the same amount of forever to arrive. My drink order also got messed up. They brought a Tonic water instead of a Gin Tonic....It‘s the only place at the beach so I guess they don‘t have any competition and no incentive to do better. The only thing that‘s nice is the patio with the bean bags. Long story short: just bring your own food to the beach.
This is the only place to eat at this location, it’s different, relaxed , we got there at 12 so not as busy , food was fine , not sure if 37€ paid for essentially burgers and chips was reasonable
