Has a deservedly good reputation for setting, staff, service yet the expectations of the best in Ericeira is a stretch too far.Sure the food has a little more c... read more Has a deservedly good reputation for setting, staff, service yet the expectations of the best in Ericeira is a stretch too far.Sure the food has a little more cosmopolitan vibe than the standard fish restaurants, pizza venues and bars in the town. I wouldn't say over rated - it's just that TripAdvisor doesn't have a 'good' option. It's not 'very good' and it's certainly not average.It's the sort of place you go once and enjoy it - that's about the limit.

Also, book a table or... read more Very friendly staff, warm and welcoming, maybe a bit busy since the restaurant is so popular so not a place to visit if you're in a hurry. Also, book a table or it will be full. Food was delicious: the catch of the day was a nice filet of grouper under a crispy cover, slightly to well fried, with excellent sautéed vegetables. Well selected wines on the wine list. Desserts with fancy names but average taste. Good espresso.All together above average in all ways, maybe growing a bit to popular?
