One of the several restaurants with fixed price, with view on the ocean. Check the extras in advance. Credit cards not working for us, as common in the area. Very good fish at a decent price View all feedback.
Definitiw the worst experience I ever had in any restaurants! I wish I could give zero star. we came to portugal for half times and came to the first time so naturally very excited into the coastal city. we came there at 1 o'clock, went to the restaurant and booked a table for 6 people for 2:30 o'clock. then went to the beach to relax before the meal. about 2 clock needed my little young toilet. people with small children will understand that if they play children, they somehow wait for the thought to go into the toilet when they are not desperate, then when they say that they have to go, they have to go immediately. So I was wondering what to do about how the building of the beach facility was closed in the building. So of course I thought of the restaurant where we booked a table. we made a walk there when my young man was pretty desperate. I asked the waiter and explained, of course, he said, and told us where to go. but the manager/owner stopped us, she saw us halfway through the stairs, as if she looked at a piece of **** and looked at my young and said: no, they can't use the toilet because he didn't pick up a bit. Yes, my young girl was in bad pants when he played on the beach, and we had no chance to grab something as desperate. I apologised and explained that we booked a table in half an hour and he really needs the toilet or he could wet himself. I explained to her our beach things were at the other end of the beach, he will never make it there and again in the time, and I can not leave it in the restaurant and run to get his dresses as he was small. she rolled her eyes and said a really loud no and told me to wait and leave. I stood there, with my little boy literally hopping next to me not sure what to do. then a few minutes later the cook noticed me and got the attention of the manager again and she came down saying really impatient, what? I was shocked when I waited for her order, but she was surprised why I was not gone. So I pointed to square fabric that covered the chair at the door and said if I could borrow it to cover my young man and bring him to the toilet. she rolled her eyes again and said an even louder no. I just had to go and my young wet as soon as we were outside the restaurant. as they can imagine, I have canceled the reservation and never want to get back to this place. I have never met so heartless restaurant manager, I can understand if an adult man is rejected topless, but a child who almost wets himself? only to clarify, there are customers in bikini tops in the restaurant. I don't know that I don't give a white man or not, I hope not, but as she looked at me and my young, I really felt like a third-country citizen. After all experienced in the last year and half and many still suffer when the whole world demands more compassion and more ease, the restaurant showed nothing but cold and cruelty.
One of the several restaurants with fixed price, with view to the sea. check the extras in advance. credit cards that do not work for us, as usual in the opposite very good fish at a decent price.
We were a group of five and were served what we didn't order, we didn't want, we didn't like, and we didn't drink. Our glasses were left full, two of them untouched. We asked for a compromise or refund and we were shouted at. I...will never go there again. I wrote to the owner with my complaint to give an opportunity to make amends before writing this scathing review but I did not receive any response to my email.
Great hosting and food. Value for money Next time with day light (deelight) and view. Such a pleasure to eat real full fish (with bones as the cowbows say)
I really like to help local businesses, but I hate to be cheated like this. The overall quality of the food is good, and the location just on top of the beach is amazing, but if you cheat your customers then one star is all...you deserve. They technically have a menu, but they do their best to prevent you from buying anything from it. Ask for any euros dish on the menu, and they'll come up with the same answer sorry, we don't have it. Eventually they push you to buy some fish dish that isn't reported on the menu. We had a seabass that was actually good (even though not reported on the menu), and only when we were presented with the bill we discovered that that dish alone was euros. I have eaten amazing plates of oysters elsewhere for that price, getting charged euros for a common fish like a seabass is outrageous, unless you literally covered it in gold. Surprise surprise, when we took a look at the other tables we noticed that ALL of them were having seabass! Finally, we asked to pay by card. And, even though both me and my wife have several European cards (Maestro, Mastercard, Visa and Amex) NONE of them worked we tried of them. The waitress confirmed that the machine never works and asked us to pay cash instead. That was the ultimate cheating: I've read of other customers having the same "issue", and it's quite clear that they just pretend to have a card reader for regulatory purposes but they take everything they can in cash, because black money is cheap money. This could overall be an amazing restaurant in an amazing location, but if you cheat your customers like this all you deserve is one star and a kick in your a*s
