The 5 of us happened upon the cafe when the original place recommended to us were full up with no seating available. They had blankets galore and a heater running for us to sit outside. Though we only had drinks, we still enjoyed the ambience and the great location.

We enjoyed excellent... read more My family and I (7 of us) happened upon this cafe on our one evening in Erfurt. It was located directly behind the must-see Kraemerbruecke. We enjoyed excellent food and service at very fair prices. Most of us enjoyed the seasonal mushroom specialty (Pfifferlinge) which came in a cream sauce with or without meat over some kind of potatoes. I chose the traditional potato dumplings (Kloese) which were light and delicious. Others in the group enjoyed the Roulade (meat roll up) and Forelle (Trout). The service was quick and friendly. The interior was stylish and modern but the basement (where the bathrooms are) was a charming Gewoelbekeller.
