Visited here today 29th Sept 2023 being fist time since lockdown. Wasnt too busy to start but got busier. Good menus and decent prices. we had the burger which was very nice indeed, a few more chips would have been good. great customer service. Will be back View all feedback.

Very disappointed today to find that we could not have the Christmas Menu. We made a reservation for 7 people for Christmas Day lunch. Despite some mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The booking and payment process was easy and allowed everyone to order their own meals online. When we arrived at the busy pub, we were promptly seated at a beautifully decorated table with crackers, Santa hats, and a coloring pack for my daughter. The restaurant was spacious, unlike other places that often cram you in. The food was delicious, with even the child's portion being generously sized for my 8-year-old. Our portions were large and I couldn't finish mine, so we were able to take the leftovers home for our dogs. The desserts were all delicious and well-presented. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return in the future.

What ever happened to the customer being right? Perhaps some customer service training might be in order as well.
The lunches at this restaurant offer great value. The staff, especially Julie, one of the managers, is exceptional. They are warm, friendly, and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. Julie truly is the face of the Queens Head.
We are locals and call in for drink most weekends but the service at the bar is dreadful each time we go in there is normally only one person serving and others just wondering around. While I appreciate the staff have to tidy up wouldn’t be better service to serve the customers that stand waiting at the bar and then “ tidy up”
Visited with friends and family. Great pub with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was served piping hot. Will happily visit again
