The Herzogstubn in Erding the best example of Bavarian hospitality I visit Erding from Switzerland several times a year. A must every time and my favorite restaurant in Erding. Even entering the restaurant is super hospitable even if I eat alone I feel super comfortable. Very nice welcome for ALL guests whether young, old, local or tourist everyone is welcome and warmly greeted. Really very nice and courteous staff. The food is fresh, regional and creative and the quantities are rather large by Swiss standards. Nobody goes home hungry. Everything is recommended but spareribs are certainly a special recommendation and the Kaiser Schmarn for dessert freshly prepared and great. Even if you have almost no space left, be sure to order. If you don't like it anymore, it can be packed up for home. Ah yes and Wednesday is schnitzel day creative schnitzel dishes at fair prices and top quality. And definitely order a fine Erdinger Weissbier or Erdinger Brauhaus or a seasonal Erdinger beer specialty with your meal. Simply great. I can highly recommend an Erdinger Pikantus for an aperitif. The Gaststibr is filled with music top music from everything. A little louder and more dimmed light at a later hour then a more relaxed atmosphere and more of a bar business but if you eat late, you will be asked if it's okay with the light and Music. Overall, a great atmosphere and beautiful decorations adapted to the season. It would be great if there was a place like this in Switzerland I would be a regular
There were nine of us and we had booked a table. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, I had the old Bavarian venison ragout. Just great, we had lava cake for dessert
We felt very comfortable. The waiters were very nice and the food was delicious. My 7 year old son also really liked it and said he would give the restaurant 5 stars.
All in all, a very nice restaurant, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The service is very friendly and attentive, so perfect Highly recommended.
