They supplied a driver to bring us up the hill with other folks that were staying in the hotel also. I had spaghetti with shellfish. Very fresh and tasty.....I 've been told the rock I found in it proves it was fresh. My wife wasn 't entirely happy with the gnocchi, but the whole fish we shared was delicious. We would have stayed for a dessert and lemoncello, but felt a bit nervous about staying any longer and allowing our driver to continue drinking more beer while he waited. Maybe that 's an Italian thing, but the folks from France were nervous too.

Finally we asked our hos... read more My girlfriend and I searched for a good place to eat near our hotel. We walked around for 20 minutes with nothing open at around 22:30. Finally we asked our host and he organized a ride for us to this restaurant. We kind of doubted if the food is good there, or if they just know each other and help out. We were greeted by a nice waiter called Enzo, wearing a formal suit. He helped us out by translating the menu which was written in Italian. I had gnocchi with mozarella and pesto on top and my partner had spaghetti with tomato sauce. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the enviroment had an authentic and a homey touch. Over all it was cheap, and I recommend this place to anyone visiting Ercolano.

We show up on a week day around lunch time. It is EMPTY. A guy helps us park across the street. He 's part of the 'family ' if you catch my drift. The view is CRAZY good...overlooking the bay of Naples and a small garden where their tomatoes grow...with chickens. The decor is 80s and holding. We were thinking either this will be the BEST ever or the worst. Well...it was the best. Really great people. Felt at home and the pizza was SERIOUSLY the best I have ever had on ANY continent. ANY city. Best ever. I will remember it for the rest of my life. As will my family
