We have here for lunch on the way up. vesuvius. the place has a beautiful view of the city neapel. the bar/restaurant is small and has some tables. we were info... read more We have here for lunch on the way up. vesuvius. the place has a beautiful view of the city neapel. the bar/restaurant is small and has some tables. we were informed that they are open in the regular nights...and on this day (saturday) was a rarer occasion where they also lunches, but served with a fixed menu. they arranged a special price for us, because we prefer not to take the appetizers and wein because of dietary restrictions. After sitting we waited for more than 40 minutes on the first plates. we understand that we are supposed to come from the previous group that was there before our arrival. so we were patient. the pasta I had was good. orecchiette all’ortolana. while on the other side my fiance pasta had a piece of wood that seemed to be part of a chopper board the size of two euro, a piece of hair and a piece of a stainless steel sponge. shocking and disgusting! but have been waiting for so long, and my fiancée, who has already been starving, placed everything un-edible on the side of the plate and ate his pasta. when the waitress took off our teller and noticed what was there, has said nothing. So we've just been watching and waiting when we're sorry. in the meantime, we had a second court of grilled bark filet and we both had a beside court of salat, french fries and a little brot that we demanded. we paid (40 and left with anyone who did this thing in pasta, not. young host this place seem friendly and good heart inspite of fusion. I therefore really hope that their future food preparation is better and hygienic.
