Second visit to this lovely restaurant. The menu is huge and includes Persian and more conventional food, including burgers. Both times I have had a Persian option, including a vegitarian dish. The food is excellent. Well sized portions ie not excessive. Prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is a real gem in Eppstein. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a relaxed evening with fabulous food.
A fabulous restaurant in Altstadt. An extensive menu, which includes Persian, Vegetarian and traditional German food. The restaurant is small and intimate. The owner/chef prepares food with love. What a great place for Eppstein and surrounds

Beautiful late lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon with the surprise castle close by.
Nice typical German food
Even though we are not real meat eaters : Now twice a menu containing liver is ordered for takeout. The quality of the liver is very good. This compared to other restaurants. Quality is good and the staff are very friendly. Although we have to come from one of the villages near Wiesbaden, it was definitely worth the car ride.
Great typical German lunch.
A small scenic restaurant, with fine food. You need reservations on a Friday night, so call ahead. The only negative? If you order fries with anything....don 't expect much beyond 2-star fries, with food enhancers added as a 'spice '. Otherwise, it 's a pretty nice place for a charming dinner. Oh, and there is very limited parking. Drive up the avenue to the left of the place, about 200 meters, and there 's some parking on the hill. Don 't expect any parking in the midst of the 'downtown ' Eppstein.

We were there for the first time after the new owners opened and were very surprised and enthusiastic. beautiful service and because food is freshly prepared, it takes a reasonable time that is worth it because it tastes very good, sufficient portions of SUPER it is worth
On a Saturday night, I wanted to bite with a buddy. So we wanted to give the paving shot a chance. The place was well visited, but for us there was another place free and the service brought us the map. After a few minutes, she came back and wanted to pick up the order. But since we wanted to have little things, we ordered children's shares. The operator immediately said it was not possible. Adults usually couldn't eat a child's portion. I'm sorry, but I won't let you tell me how much I have to eat, so I'd rather go somewhere else.
The restaurant in a beautiful old renovated building is very pleasant and cozy, the premises are distributed over two floors. This strengthens the feeling well again. The dishes offered are of very good taste and quality, I have rarely eaten such a good tasting supplement salad!!! There were no fillers such as red or white spices from the glass etc. there, there was a great addition of various salads a lot of spice herbs and exact dosage vinegar and oil, so simply great. Even the desire to get rice or the like instead of potatoes was no problem at all. The staff here is very friendly and always helpful. Who wasn't here certainly missed something. That we come back here is, of course, out of question after this great experience. Only with the parking spaces around the restaurant it can sometimes become somewhat narrow.

Nicht unbedingt das was man erwartet. Lange Wartezeiten und nicht immer freundlicher Service. Keine Entschuldigung warum man do. lang warten muss. Küche und Service scheinen überfordert zu sein.
Schönes Ambiente. Das Restaurant ar im ersten Stock geöffnet. Es war ziemlich voll an diesem Sonntag. Ein gutes Zeichen. Dennoch bekamen wir ohne Reservierung Platz. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Kloster Weltenburg Bier aus Bayern. Die Auswahl an Gericjhten ist groß und die Zubereitung frisch und gut. Es ist zu empfehlen.. Probieren Sie es einfach mal. Wir fanden es super....
Durch die letzten Bewertungen zieht sich ja immer das Gleiche: urige Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen, aber lange Wartezeiten. All das können wir bestätigen, wobei die Wartezeiten zwar in der Tat länger als sonst allgemein üblich waren, aber letztlich noch akzeptabel. Hier wird halt noch alles frisch gemacht, die Schnitzel kommen noch aus der Pfanne und wahrscheinlich ist die Küche klein und das bei offensichtlich großer Beliebtheit. Wir hatten jedenfalls Glück früh am Abend zu sein, später wäre ohne Reservierung nichts mehr gegangen.
Wir waren zu viert; jeder eine andere Schnitzelvariante. Alle sehr gut. In der Bar im Erdgeschoss gemütlich gesessen.
Notre hôtesse nous a indiqué cet établissement à l'enseigne très déroutante : un monsieur qui défèque ! L'explication remonte à l'époque des grands marchés médiévaux. Les marchands, qui ne pouvaient pas payer les taxes, se vengeaient en se soulageant au pied des fortifications. Mais revenons à la gastronomie, la cuisine est bonne, copieuse. Le cadre est agréable, ( une maison à colombages restaurée après un incendie ) , l'accueil est sympathique et le rapport qualité/ prix est bon.
