I actually love the location and enjoy being here, but I definitely have two complaints: 1. The hours listed on Google don't match the actual times. From 2:30 PM onwards, it's quiet time, and the restaurant is closed. It's really annoying when you arrive thirsty and hungry after a hike. 2. When we arrived after our long hike, there was a notice outside saying that card payments weren't accepted. This was also really annoying after a long hike, as there's no bank nearby.

The price/performance ratio is simply not right! Update 04/2025: The open white wine (0.2l) now costs 15 euros. This is probably even actionable under §138 of the German Civil Code (BGB)... More on the conditions there, see below: We 've been guests there for years and were there last week for the LAST TIME! Side salad 8 euros! ... just green leaf salad... not even a mixed salad! Is that even possible? Glass of Pinot Gris, 0.2l, from the Rheinhessen winery, where we coincidentally have been buying for years: 8 euros! The BOTTLE for non-business customers costs 4.80 euros ex-farm! RIP-OFF...pure rip-off! Even better...glass, 0.2l, mediocre Lugana, believe it or not, 10 euros! The view can be nice, too. Not to mention the food... Salmon fillet (the pig of the sea) 32 euros... without a side salad. With salad 40 euros... Are we in Switzerland?

The quality of the food has declined considerably. The ingredients no longer justify the price. This will be our last visit. It's a shame, as the pizza was outstanding last year.

We were here at the end of November 2023 and were actually really positive about the restaurant overall. The bruschetta and, for example, the crème brûlée were very tasty back then. Remembering our good experiences back then, we recently returned, but unfortunately, a lot has changed. The bruschetta recipe was no longer recognizable, and the crème brûlée was no longer available. The pizza we ordered was burnt on the bottom, which muffled the flavor of many of the toppings. There were also no menus left, except for drinks, just a blackboard with a very small selection of dishes (some of which were a bit difficult to read due to lack of space). Parking and service were still very good, and the food was served attractively and quickly. Everything was also clean, and the manager was quite flexible. Nevertheless, this doesn't overshadow the deterioration in taste that the restaurant has clearly suffered. Generally, it's a shame; we've enjoyed coming here before, but our most recent visit was probably a dealbreaker.

Upon entering the room, we were met with a musty smell. The radiators were turned up full, but only lukewarm. The €8.90 Insalata Mista came from a bag, and the dressing had run right over it. The two pizzas we ordered didn't arrive at the same time; one of them was so burnt that we had to complain. The water on the menu is probably tap water with SodaStream added. On the wall, along with the Christmas decorations, various other things are gathering dust.
