Following an inspection conducted by the Heilbronn District Food Inspection Authority on July 1, 2025, the results were published on August 13, 2025. Please note: According to Section 40, Paragraph 1a of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB), this regulation expressly obliges authorities to inform the public only if there is sufficient suspicion or evidence of a significant violation of hygiene or consumer protection regulations. FACTS REASON FOR COMPLAINT On July 1, 2025, a follow-up inspection was conducted at the adjacent facility. At the time of the inspection, some perishable food products were stored at ambient temperature without any refrigeration. For example, a sour and yeasty odor was detected in canned corn, and the corn exhibited significant and unacceptable grossly perceptible abnormalities caused by microbial metabolic activity. Raw bell peppers exhibited an incipiently rotten and musty odor. This also exhibited significant and unacceptable grossly perceptible abnormalities caused by microbial metabolic activity. Due to the conditions found, there was a risk of adverse effects or contamination of the food produced at the facility. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORRECTION AND REMARKS The affected food products were collected as suspect samples and submitted to the Stuttgart Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office for testing. An inspection was already carried out on February 25, 2025, the results of which were published on April 25, 2025: On February 25, 2025, a routine inspection was carried out at the aforementioned facility by the Office for Veterinary Affairs and Consumer Protection of the Heilbronn District Office. During the inspection, obviously contaminated food products that were to be placed on the market were found. Samples were then taken. These were submitted to the Stuttgart Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office for evaluation. The Opened Feta Sheep 's Cheese sample was deemed unfit for human consumption due to its bacterial contamination, particularly with hygiene indicator bacteria caused by excessive storage and or improper handling. The Opened Mozzarella sample was deemed disgusting and no longer fit for human consumption because it was stored in a plastic container that did not meet hygiene requirements. It is therefore all the more alarming that such irregularities were uncovered again during such a short-term follow-up inspection. I hope that those responsible have now thoroughly remedied the identified irregularities and implemented permanent, effective hygiene and quality control measures.
Already heavily criticized twice by the trade inspectorate. Once a hearty pizza for delivery or pickup, unfortunately no longer recommended.
We placed a larger order with several extra requests for the individual pizzas, and everything arrived exactly as requested. Everyone was satisfied. Thank you very much!
We ordered from Pizza House again after a long time, and the pizza still tastes fantastic, just like it has for years. The salad is also really good, and it has more toppings than before. We'll definitely order again!
