I went to this restaurant for lunch with my family, including my granddaughter, and we were all impressed with the fantastic food. The lunch menu had something for everyone - the curry was delicious, the burger was homemade and cooked to perfection, and the chicken burger was also delicious. The staff and owner were very attentive and friendly, as always. You really can't go wrong with this place!

The beer was decent, the service was average, but the food was disappointing. We ordered fish and chips and the fish was dry while the chips were undercooked. The pub was clean and tidy, but had a somewhat sterile atmosphere. Overall, we will not be returning.

More information

Locals often single out bar staff by name — reviewers mention Natalie and Delboy — and the pub has a clear match-day following (one review even calls it a Spurs pub). Regulars also rave about a standout double pie & mash and a well-kept Madri lager; conversely there are claims of a coordinated campaign of low ratings from activists, so new visitors sometimes find very different experiences than the one-star reviews suggest.
