I was a little suspicious when the frit fresh fish put into a compartment and the dame that served me took the sad piece of...shock from a compartment that sat on itself with the cake alone (she had to support it with her other hand, as it had broken in two.) there was already one because sat clearly. there is really nothing to write about this local chippy. much better fishing and chips in youdon. never again!

Despite requesting salt... read more I recently ordered 2 battered sausages with chips, scampi with chips, and 2 orders of fish and chips. It was a disappointing experience. Despite requesting salt and vinegar on the chips, it was not included. The battered sausage was indistinguishable from the fish because the fish portion was so small. Furthermore, the batter was soggy and lacked flavor. Overall, the meal was subpar.

It seems like the staff doesn't care. The batter was terrible. I recommend going to Fish n Chicken on Potter Street instead. You won't find a better option!
