Best cod and chips in the area in my humble opinion. Everything cooked well and the fish is fresh and succulent. It's a positive delight for the taste buds and reasonably priced too.
I recently ordered 2 battered sausages with chips, scampi with chips, and 2 orders of fish and chips. It was a disappointing experience. Despite requesting salt and vinegar on the chips, it was not included. The battered sausage was indistinguishable from the fish because the fish portion was so small. Furthermore, the batter was soggy and lacked flavor. Overall, the meal was subpar.
The chips were good, but my cod was soggy and tasted strange. After giving the restaurant another chance, it was still really bad. It seems like the staff doesn't care. The batter was terrible. I recommend going to Fish n Chicken on Potter Street instead. You won't find a better option!
The best fish and chips in the area. We dined in at the restaurant but also ordered it as takeaway.
