Contribute FeedbackThe Plough offers a mixed experience with some patrons enjoying the delicious and affordably priced food, while others had disappointing meals and encounters with unprofessional staff. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a pleasant beer garden and play area for kids, but the proximity to a busy road can be a downside. Despite some issues with service and food quality, the restaurant offers a decent pub experience. The menu seems to have received mixed reviews, with some finding the food to be well-cooked but nothing exceptional. Overall, visitors have had varied experiences at The Plough, making it a hit or miss option for dining out.
We were living in front of the village for nights and stayed here for dinner at the first night. nessie (vanessa) and zara were brilliant with the children and nothing was too much to ask. eating was delicious and we had a very relaxing time. It...was so beautiful that we also came back in our second night to dinner! great price for good food! highly recommended
We work close and decided to go to dinner and a few beers. the natives are really friendly, the eating and service was excellent, zara and faith (I think that was their names at all) have really looked after us. we'll see each other soon. if we are in the opposite.
Great. the personal could not have been more friendly. there were ten of us and nothing was too much. the food was delicious. will return.
Excellent eating. excellent staff was nothing a problem. beautiful relaxing event. will definitely go back and would recommend this pub/restaurant.
Me, my dad and aunt visited the plough sewardstone Road for Christmas Dinner. The staff were excellent especially Petra, who was very attentive and looked after us well, Dan the manager checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. A great experience. The food...was great and cooked to perfection, also presented well.
