Contribute FeedbackThe hotel's Indian restaurant promises an authentic dining experience but delivers mixed results. While some guests rave about flavorful dishes like Daal Tadka and Peshwari Naan, others find the food lacking authenticity, likening it to microwaved or bar food. The menu is limited, and the quality of ingredients sometimes disappoints, particularly with tough steaks and frozen sides. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant maintains reasonable prices and friendly service, making it a decent option for hotel guests. Upgrades to both the menu and the hotel ambiance could greatly enhance the overall dining experience.
I read many reviews claiming that this place was fantastic and authentic, but it doesn't appear to be a restaurant anymore. Instead, customers order at the hotel bar and are served typical "bar food." The garlic and coriander naan was deep-fried, resembling garlic bread, and there was no server to bring the different dishes. The "steel" curry seemed to be made with cubed frozen product. Unless the original Nirvana restaurant has closed and the hotel has taken over its kitchen, I don't understand how this place has received good reviews.
Great Indian. Amazing Garlic Coriander Naan bread. Decent priced cuisine not the usual rubbish you get elsewhere.
The restaurant offers beautiful, authentic dining experiences. The hotel has very comfortable beds (Hypnos), although they could use some updating and renovation. The delicious food makes it worth visiting for a meal and considering staying overnight.
The Goan fish curry was outstanding. The service was excellent and there was a diverse selection of Asian dishes available.
A few months ago with the family. the hotel itself is very dated and the restaurant needs updating. the meal took age groups to get out and was of only average quality. we were much better Indian restaurants than that.
