A lone waitress in a p... read more We have visited a few times for both lunch and dinner. Always a great experience and tasty food. The owner serves and her daughter cooks. A lone waitress in a packed restaurant keeping her eye on everyone the whole time and giving such an excellent, attentive and efficient service to her diners is an art form to admire. We will definitely be back.

This is a small family run restaurant and makes a welcome change from the big impersonal chains. The atmosphere was lovely with locals coming out for dinner . I would thoroughly recommend this lovely little restaurant .

The lack of staff both in the kitchen and on the floor led to poor service and subpar food quality. Although the lady who welcomed us was friendly, she quickly became overwhelmed as the restaurant got busier, resulting in a decline in service. The menu did not include specials or information on desserts and coffee, which were not offered to us. The scallops were tiny and overcooked, served with a strong tomato and mushroom sauce. The king prawns were tasteless and chewy, with a greasy sauce. The chicken was bland and overcooked, paired with a lackluster Bolognese sauce. The lobster ravioli was too thick and still had bones and shells, accompanied by an overpowering tomato sauce. We had difficulty getting another drink and had to wait a long time to pay the bill. Overall, it was not a positive dining experience, and as the restaurant got busier, the standard of service and food only worsened.

The por... read more My family and I are regulars at Leonardos and have always had a great experience. The food is traditional Italian with a diverse menu (no pizza though). The portions are really generous. I’d say I’ve visited in excess of 20 times and tried a number of different dishes and enjoyed my meal every single time. My favourites have been the lasagna, the halibut and the pollo Milanese. The potatoes and zucchini are also delicious accompaniments. The prices are really reasonable with only the fish dishes being on the pricier side. The owner does all of the serving by herself so when it is particularly busy you may need to be patient. However generally service is by no means slow. You definitely won’t ever be disappointed with the food!
