What TracyJ529 doesn't like about Lan Naa Thai:
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was disappointed with the quality. Instead of Thai crackers, I received Chinese prawn crackers that were half a pack. The steamed jasmine rice was actually overcooked basmati rice. The ribs were priced at around £9 for only 3 small pieces, which I found to be overpriced and not worth it. View all feedback.
Service was terrible, waited 45 minutes for starters! 30 minutes for our main. Will not be coming again

Had eaten at this restaurant on a regular basis over the past 5 years with friends and family. Their takeaways were a particular weekend highlight during lockdown authentic flavours that kept us coming back. For whatever reason they changed chef this year and we had heard that things had gone downhill. Decided to wait 3 months and see for ourselves if it really was that bad, surely this would be enough time to settle any teething problems. Unfortunately this place really has gone from ten to zero. They’ve removed a number dishes we enjoyed. The Thai green curry I ordered had absolutely no flavour. The famous coconut rice had only the slightest hint of coconut. I couldn’t finish even a third of the meal, it was just unflavoured sludge. A real shame since this was our go to place.
Stopped ordering after they got their new chef and menu which no longer served the more unique Thai dishes we had loved for 10 years. We had also been told about food having no taste. Delivery/collection was now restricted to “gogetters” who charged a service fee and a delivery charge adding up to approx £5 for an order of £40. Worth noting the prices have also gone up for delivery I’m not sure if they have for dining in as I have not been back recently) Anyway… so tonight I thought let’s give them a chance and see how some dishes compare to the previous chef and ordered one of my regular orders: Jungle curry, Jasmin rice, and veg spring rolls. Food arrived very hot The spring rolls nice Rice was ok Jungle Curry was hard to eat at times as it had no flavour other then the chilli. It was previously so multilayered and bursting with flavours Oh well I guess I can try the pad Thai next time, but if that’s got no flavour either I’ll have to give up on Lan Naa. : Please bring our a favourite dishes back and cook it how you used to. Pleeeeeaaase.
We went there last minute on a Tuesday night and wasn’t disappointed we went for the set menu a the food was made fresh to order and was delicious and I considered very reasonably priced
