Watched No reservations the week before we went down to Medellin and put it on our list. It was in fact a good decision. Order the bandeja paisa and loosen your belt. Even on an empty stomach, finishing the dish will come down to sheer willpower. They had an amazing coconut lemonade that was perfect for washing down the insane amount of food we ate. Didn 't give 5 stars because it took about 6 requests over 30 minutes to get water and soda refill, but other than that this place was great.

Recommend going at lunch, as they don't make the huge, traditional meal (Bandeja Paisa at dinner. We didn't try the Mexican food, but the Colombian we did have was great (Huge Arepas, which comes stuffed with chicharones, veggies, etc. Seating is open air, at picnic-style tables, so very casual. You could get here mid-day and hang out, then waddle out in early evening. Perfect service. This place is family-owned and run, and they really know what they're doing. Get a taxi on the street right outside to get back downtown. If you wander too much farther off that street, you might have trouble getting a cab, because they are all occupied.

You don't need to eat again for 24 hours after these bad boys. Bit dear, at around 9-10,000 $6) for Envigado but they are a meal in themselves. Prompt, good service.
