Asados Fonda Bartolos - Envigado

Right at the park of Envigado. Warm, but delicious and healthy. Had the daily lunch and was very satisfied: the special lunch plate was churrasco, but I replaced pollen a la plancha, rice with egg above, curtains, French pommes, green salad, and arepa. It included a fresh juice: tomate de árbol. It was excellent. My friend had the same thing to drink with Churrasco and Musamorra. All under $10 US. You can't beat!

If you happen to be in Envigado's Park Downtown, you will find various small places to get a beer or coffee 'old school', but Bartolos is actually a simple and unpretentious place where you can get good local paisa food for good prices, they also have some meat cuts and there is a special for lunch. There is also a cheaper option menú del día, which comes along with soup and the meat you prefer, with the normal products you can find in a homemade lunch in Antioquia. In the morning they offer a typical breakfast with Calentado (beans and rice, Chicharrón (pork eggs, eggs (crambled or in a cashierole, or with chopped tomatoes and onions, arepa and hot chocolate. Do not expect unusual tables, an elegant atmosphere or top visitors. It is really clean and safe anyway:

Servicio rápido, comida buena, porciones abundantes, precio justo y una sensación de estadero, son las mayores virtudes de este restaurante ubicado en pleno centro de Envigado. Si lo cogió la hora del almuerzo en el parque de Envigado, le recomiendo este sitio.

Preparacion en su punto, acompañantes y base del plato consistentes y con el sabor adecuado, plato caliente, muy buen servicio, ambiente agradable y aseado, lo recomiendo.
