The best sit down place in town for Mexican type food. It's bright, colorful, food is has good flavor.
Ranchito #2 is a good place to get a casual meal with the family or a friend. Located in the hotel, the restaurant makes a good job with decor, making it feel like a separate location (except feeling how you eat in a hotel). Everything is bright and colorful, and the living plants in the windows and between the sections give him a friendly feeling. The chips were thick and the salsa was good. I was surprised by the number of vegetarian options, and grateful that they were listed in a place. I have the veggie burrito, and it was HUGE and delicious. Also visual: combo plates, spinach burrito, and the free dessert we received (so good). Why only 4 stars? While the food was good and there servers were nice, the food was not spectacular. One of my eating mates had Chile Relleno, who was cold in the middle. After we finished eating, we had to wait for the check, although the restaurant was almost empty until then. Overall, I would probably be back.
Great food and service! Our party of four chose the chimichanga with shrimps for an appetizer and there was a lot to go and it came hot and tasty. We had four main things that were extraordinary. I definitely recommend Ranchito #2. Our service was also top notch!
Great food, and our server was really nice, but it was very short staffed and busy Friday night. Our server seemed overwhelmed, but did her best to help us.
