Locanda Del Sorriso - ENTRACQUE

We were disappointed with our stay. The greeting upon arrival is not very welcoming. We were with our baby and toddler. I wanted to sit in the front of the garden with my family for a snack before dinner, but was quickly told to go sit in the back. The back was depressing. No care to the yard, and hot as hell. I later learned that we were told to move to the back due to the fact that at the front the staff guests smoke so much you can’t even breathe. Our double room only had 1 small window and was very hot. Dinner was a disappointment. The trout soup had soggy bread with some sort of cream sauce on top. The wine was way too acidic. We were told that the next morning we had to have breakfast at an early time due to a “busy” sunday but when we came down it was only us. When we finished, other people were just beginning. Besides the yogurt muesli, breakfast was only condiments. Jams, nutella, etc... all sugar. It would have been nice to have at least an egg. My 3 year old ate only jams with stale bread. Would not recommend. The owners are extremely tired and the husband has no people skills whatsoever. Still disgusted by the food and the overall atmosphere. depressing. will never go back

This is a mountain hut really but you can reach by car and experience the very special food made by the couple that run the place. The menu doesn't give you many options but it's really unique. You may not like everything they make but they make a difference in what they serve. They try hard and I strongly recommend you taste something different when in the area. You will remember it.

Il ristorante è un bel posto, purtroppo il tempo non era dei migliori ma per tutto il resto direi eccellente. Ottimo cibo casalingo ma ricercato, ho mangiato una zuppetta di trote buonissima. Il personale è molto gentile ed accogliente. Che dire... lo straconsiglio e ci tornerò!

Siamo stati in questo locale per la prima volta alcuni giorni fa a pranzo ed è stata una esperienza ok. Menù preso alla carta (ma era disponibile anche quello turistico pressoché identico): misto di antipasti, ravioli alla fonduta e timo (vedi foto), stracotto con polenta. Bevuto dolcetto di Dogliani. Tutto molto buono e servizio gentile e cortese. Promosso e consigliato.
