For breakfast, we had 1 the avocado toast with smoked salmon a... read more We went to I Due Amici twice: breakfast take away in lockdown and lunch take away after lockdown. For breakfast, we had 1 the avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached egg, 2 the avo toast with bacon with poached egg. The portions were generous, lots of salmon and bacon. One egg was poached, mine was too cooked (hard boiled). For lunch, we tried the chicken stew with lentils (according to menu). It comes with a side salad and saffron rice. The chicken was very tender and tasted really good, rice was very good too. Unfortunately, there was no stew or lentil or anything else in the stew. The chicken was simmered in a very clear broth oil, and that was the extent of the stew . It is far from a Persian stew. I would call it a stewed chicken maybe? It tasted good but it was not what we expected and we were disappointed. If I had been in the restaurant when we opened the box, I would have asked if they had forgotten to put something in the stew.

They also take very long time to even... read more The food here is delicious but the guy that works there not sure if the owner is always super moody and rude to everybody. They also take very long time to even take your order and then bring it to the table. It’s a shame the service is so bad and one of the guys there always super rude. Makes me not want to go there again even though the food is incredible.
