Menu all in Spanish but I unders... read more I was walking around near the cruise lines in Ensenada Mexico and stumbled to this local Favorito so decided to check the menu. Menu all in Spanish but I understand a bit of Spanish menu. Originally I was going to order huevo ranchero but decided to order local soups pigs feet and 2 eggs over easy One of the best food I have this year. Service is great and fast.

The food and service was excellent but I'm taking off a star because the **** margarine and powdered, artificial coffee cream was jarring and surprising next to... read more The food and service was excellent but I'm taking off a star because the **** margarine and powdered, artificial coffee cream was jarring and surprising next to the pretty good pancakes and coffee. Learn from places like IHOP and original pancake house--artificial garbage takes away from an otherwise great meal.

I live in Mexico so i am aware of this and very few places especially in a tourist city. Long wait to get seated. Finally seated and put us next to the ac cabinet or something. Has slats for air and has a horrible odor coming from it. I asked to move and of course they ssid it will be awhile and she never came back. We were there so we tried to order. Everyone around us had people helping. Young girls walking around refilling coffee picking up dirty dishes. I had to wave down a waiter just to order. Food starts to finally come. Pancakes come with meals. Horrible pancakes as as soon as put down i knew they were uncooked and still raw inside. Ordered coffee and so obvious when they are refilling everyone around you and delibrately pass you by or even aask you when we have empty cups. Secondly these young girl helpers who are not waiters which there are many go around to pickup dishes as to not crowd tables walked by and looked down and did not pickup one dish. Main dish comes and at this point im annoyed. Chiliquiles special was nothing special and eggs benedict had a awful tasting sauce. Asked for check and got the heck out of here.

Daughter went with the kid favorite chocolate chip pancakes and hubbe couldn't resist the steak and eggs. Bring pesos and expect a bit of a wait.
