What User doesn't like about Manzanilla:
However we didn't ask for the oysters and shells which they say is their specialty the rest of the food is good, very good but in my opinion is over priced. The restaurant itself is nice and romantic and very artistic kind of a blend deco and noveau. The service is personal and very nice. Owner attended View all feedback.
After the suggestion of the wonderful owners of lechuza winery, we canceled our evening reservation at another place and booked at manzanilla. what a fabulous idea! this place is a hidden gem. the room is amazing, decorated with art and they feel like you in someone's...home the bar is carved in wood and is really a must to see. the foods and drinks were absolutely delicious and innovativ. not a single one. not to mention the owners and the staff was so warm and friendly. we'll be back every time. Do not miss this place!
I came here with my husband as we were dodging a wedding rehearsal and it did not disappoint! Raw and grilled oysters were exceptional and cheaper than even happy hour in Los Angeles. I will definitely be coming back!
Use google maps to get there, don't be fooled by the location, there's no other restaurant in the street nor store, you only see the entrance of the port, check where to park because the street around the restaurant is reserved for port parking. The...food is excellent, the only thing to improve is the light in the men's bathroom and clean more often the ladies bathroom
Came here with my wife to try something new. Although I've been eating in ensenada restaurants for many years, I was surprised that it was almost 20 years and I didn't hear it. as always, first of its not. easy to find, at the end of a road which is usually lined by harbour offices. decor is simple, although with a very attractive bar. try the oaxaca margaritas quite a kick. they have a good, though a bit expensive! weinlist plus a good selection of craft beers. for eating we had the tasting 6 curs for my wife and 8 for me. my additional 2 courses included some ribbed eye and a cheese plate. if they starve dead, this is not the choice for them his in the grunde a series of cooked grapes. Nevertheless, the taste of the spears, oysters, fish, speciality tacos and a cheese of dessert, which looks like an egg, was a really taste experience! we will definitely come back and try something a la carte next time
