we are regularly from this restaurant. the new location (on the santo tomas plaza) is much more beautiful than the previous, with a lot of parking. besides their ceviches and seafood pasta, they have new menu offers, such as a garnel salad and a...fishiness that is really delicious. Good service. eating was really good and very fresh. they were also very accommodating, that we dissert from the ice place over them. the oysters were very fresh and they had a lot of sauces to go with them. both were good. loved the Persian spin on the white fish and a classic take, but with oktopus, snuggle and fish. her spaghetti with abalone was great. really simple pasta with butter, but the abalone there is that extra taste that takes it from just good to great.

Our local guide pointed to the way to this wonderful little place in an old brick building, where I had perfectly seasoned my first taste of abalone in years along with of course after the cure of mushing and pasta dishes – go!
We took a shuttle from Hotel Coral Marina on the north end of town, it is super close (but not close enough to walk). The restaurant storefront is nestled among the touristy shops in a busy and safe part of el centro. The ambience...is hip, I could see it fitting in with a shop at Liberty Station in San Diego. For food, we ordered the clam chowder to start. It was perfectly balanced, not too creamy. We shared the pasta, it had great flavors and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The only issue was ours and that was that the table next to us had their little kid riding a scooter in and out of the restaurant, so we asked to move and that was just fine. If you do not speak Spanish, don't worry, you'll be fine here. Most of the workers will understand you and they can figure out what you are trying to communicate.
We were referred by a local friend. This place is beyond charming. First- the drinks.... I'm not a big mojito fan, but they offered a Jager Mojito. I had to try it. We both had The food- we split a collection of tostadas- shrimp,...octopus, marlin and tuna. All fresh and full of flavor. The servers- what a team! This is a place not to be missed. It's small, so go early!
