Good service. eating was really good and very fresh. they were also very accommodating, that we dissert from the ice place over them. the oysters were very fres... read more Good service. eating was really good and very fresh. they were also very accommodating, that we dissert from the ice place over them. the oysters were very fresh and they had a lot of sauces to go with them. both were good. loved the Persian spin on the white fish and a classic take, but with oktopus, snuggle and fish. her spaghetti with abalone was great. really simple pasta with butter, but the abalone there is that extra taste that takes it from just good to great.

The restaurant storefront is nestled among the touristy shops in a busy and safe part of el centro. The ambience...is hip, I could see it fitting in with a shop at Liberty Station in San Diego. For food, we ordered the clam chowder to start. It was perfectly balanced, not too creamy. We shared the pasta, it had great flavors and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The only issue was ours and that was that the table next to us had their little kid riding a scooter in and out of the restaurant, so we asked to move and that was just fine. If you do not speak Spanish, don't worry, you'll be fine here. Most of the workers will understand you and they can figure out what you are trying to communicate.

Chef Manuel speaks my language; wholsome dishes with high quality local seafood, cooked to perfection, no sauces to camouflage the ingredients. I tried the clam chowder, it...was the best I had for years, I had been travelling around Vancuver Island, ordered clam chowder in every restaurant I ate, good... but this is much better, the largest pieces of clams as well. The Pacific White Fish the Yellow Tail were excellent, we loved the desert as well! Very reasonable prices, in LA these dishes would cost you still have to ask if the fish is wild or farmed! Thanks chef, we will be back every time we come down to Baja.

I contacted la concheria. on facebook and got an immediate answer that they would be happy to prepare one for me in some way that I chose. we have picked up the phallic view of the mussels and found la concheria in its new location, until the tasting room la cetto in ensenada. they took the mussels from our hands and knew exactly what to do with him, cook par until the shell came out and then they prepared it two away, a whip and a sashimi. both preparations were great, but unfortunately these muddles are slandered and hard or at least those I have chosen. the ceviche was great, every bite that was not the clam, and the sashimi preparation was gently flavored to prevent the clam that would have been perfect if the clam had brought something on the table! so long history short, let them buy the seafood or just stay away from the geoduck’s, and enjoy all the creative possibilities that the cook can prepare! a large mix of Latin and Asian cuisine, made with a very modern presentation and served by a very friendly staff.
