This last visit was my 4th in more than 10 years. Each time I say it will be my last!! (This time I mean it...) This seafood restaurant is well-known and, by some, well-thought-of... For me, it is consistently mediocre. Ensenada is known for its fresh and delicious seafood, so why go and settle for humdrum? My sea bass was overcooked and tough! A venerable seafood restaurant should know better. The seafood soup was tasteless before adding condiments, as was the oyster tempura. The staff is very nice but service is inefficient, with some appetizers arriving early and others arriving just before the entree was served.
This seafood restaurant is consistently good and affordable. The service is good and the food is always prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is super and you feel like you are a part of Ensenada!
