Hacienda San Angel - Ensenada

My wife and I got married on Saturday July 1st 2017 at Hacienda San Angel, it was amazing! Their service, the help and coordination and their ability to meet every one of our requests was outstanding. They exceeded my wife and I's expectations in every way. I can't thank you enough for allowing my wife and our families the experience we had. We had multiple guests come up to us and tell us this was the best wedding they had ever been to in their lives. From a happily married couple, thank you from the Salazar family! We are here for a special evening. the atmosphere, the eating and the Mariachi band were so special. the building is something they do not expect when they go from the cobblestone road. the waiters, the staff and the manager are very nice and visit their. always need or want. so a besigufler place. we would recommend going here to get the experience we had. so beautiful evening

Great place, it is like a nice hacienda, came to the breakfast, great service, enjoyed the garden landscape, not tourist location, many native (which I liked) but the coffee was average as well as the breakfast I had.

Even before you enter the premises you can see the dedication they put on the gardening arrangements and the ambiance. Inside, it is more of the same: A nice, big garden (big but not too plant-populated), a fountain and the main Hacienda building. You can choose (if available) to be seated on the building or on the garden (and don't worry, the garden tables that are not under standard roofing have some nice shade-providing tarps). This time we went for the garden and it was nice, not too cold (even on a cloudy day) since it is a walled garden and wind is not an issue. Can't say much about the inside of the Hacienda since we sat on the garden. It was a Saturday morning and they had some Marimba musicians setting a nice mood for breakfast. Service was a little slow (not really an issue for us, since we weren't on a tight schedule, mind that if you have some time restrictions), but they brought some bread and coffee to open the appetite. Food is average, not bad but not delicious (although the freshly made tortillas are quite good, you might want to get at least one quesadilla). I had an "El Poblano" (eggs topped with mole bathed chicken, beans and a hash brown), nice combination, not tasteless but the mole was a little bit on the weak side of the flavor spectrum. Portions are big enough for one person.In the end, the most pleasant thing about San Angel, for us, was the setting, quite nice to go with family/friends, not noisy at all and very relaxing. Also, enjoy the flower sighting!
