It is always a pleasure to walk into Kilcannon Garden centre to be met by a myriad of colour from the fresh, vibrant plants ready for potting. If you like to wander around garden centres like a contestant in the jungle of I'm a Celebrity' then Kilcannon is not for you. It is smaller than most centres these days, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for by utilising every bit of space to show-off the range... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kilcannon Garden Centre:
First impressions as regards to cafes not great. Once inside the door the atmosphere was a bit sombre but thought what the heck I'm here now so decided to try their lunch special of egg mayonnaise and chips. Disappointed to say the least with a bucket of dried out greasy chips and a salad tantamount to end of day scraps, not like the salad I was expecting. Good job there was a bottle of coke there to wash down what I... View all feedback.
Restaurant is fantastic lovely food and very friendly staff
Just last weekend my wife came home after visiting this small local well establushed coffee shop and restaurant. Kilcannon provides a training service for people on the edges of society who wish to be retrained and work in numerous employments including the hospitality industry . The restaurant provides for a small but locally inclusive menu. It May nit set the culinary world alight but it serves decent basic food well cooked at decent prices and caters for a very local type of clientele What they excel at is patience with their customers many of whom are of senior ages and who need time and consideration to be able to make their choices. This was available in spades last weekend as my father in law who us nigh on 87 yrs young was given all the time and consideration necessary. It is lovely to be able to say that of a place that is more than the sum of its parts, also the Carrott cake is yummy and blue butterfly
This is a lovely garden centre with restaurant situated on the Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy. While in the garden centre, we decided to have lunch. The restaurant is quite basic but a good size and bright and clean. There is also outside seating. I had a beautiful custom made chicken based wrap with some chips [not a portion] on the side. This was an ample lunch and very tasty. It cost me €6. I was amazed at the price and evident value for money. I will certainly go again if in the area. This is not a fine dining establishment but it is all you need for a quick and filling lunch at the right price.
