Overall great restaurant. Very solid food and fresh toppings especially their cheesesteaks. The custard is also amazing and includes many great mix-ins. The service is impeccable with several sweet waitstaff which also open the door for you and will always work with a smile. The atmosphere is overall very nice and usually has appropriate seasonal decorations. View all feedback.
What Mace Memphis M doesn't like about Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries:
They closed 20+ minutes early. The open light was still on but they had completely shut down the inside and wouldn’t help us in the drive thru.Poor customer service to close early and leave the open light on. Then we were told “they wanted to close early”. View all feedback.
I have loved this place since they first opened. Everything I've tried has been great but my personal preference is the shrimp Po'boy sandwich. I've ordered it the last 3 times I've been here and it never lets me down. Come in and say hi to Chris who has a great attitude and is fire behind the grill.
Excellent place. Easy to get in and on with your day. Chris and his staff are doing it right.

The custard is remarkable as well, featuring a variety of delicious mix-ins. The service is outstanding, with friendly waitstaff who are always eager to help and greet you with a smile. The ambiance is lovely, often enhanced by thoughtfully chosen seasonal decorations.
The burgers and po'boys are absolutely delicious! The service staff is consistently attentive and thoughtful!
Tasty burgers and delightful ice cream! Absolutely worth a visit!
