Sherwood Inn - Ennis

I have always had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the excellent staff and delicious food. I decided to take my mum there for her first visit. This time, we were seated at a table that could have used a wipe-down. When I moved the placemats, I noticed they were quite dirty, with food stuck underneath. We asked a staff member if she could clean the table and the mats. She wiped down the table but returned with the placemats still dirty underneath. I hope someone takes the time to clean them properly, as maintaining good hygiene is crucial. The food here is fantastic and reasonably priced. Keep smiling, staff—we'll definitely be back! But I have to give this visit 4 stars for the cleanliness issue.

The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices, all complemented by friendly staff. There is ample parking available, and each table provides a sense of privacy. It's definitely the go-to spot for dining in Ennis.

The chicken curry I had was absolutely unacceptable—definitely not fresh and really disappointing. I had to throw it away, along with my money. I've usually enjoyed the food here, but this time it was just terrible! I won’t be returning. I hope they enjoy the 45 euros I wasted. I would avoid this place if I were you. If I could give a zero star rating, I absolutely would.

I've never met someone who doesn't like Sherwood the portions are massive the food is lovely and the staff are very friendly that's why it's always packed
