Feedback
Anthony's at the Doolin Inn has garnered a diverse array of feedback from patrons. While many commend the restaurant for its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and delectable dishes—especially seafood and desserts—others express disappointment with certain menu items, citing issues with over-salted mussels and bland pasta. Guests have praised the professionalism and kindness of the staff, highlighting a memorable dining experience enhanced by personal touches from the chef. Overall, Anthony's seems to deliver a delightful meal for some, yet leaves others longing for consistency. It remains a recommended choice for those exploring Doolin.
We had a fantastic dinner at Anthony’s. We tried many other places while we stayed in the area and Anthony’s was the best by far in food, service and views. Everyone there was great, but Eddie truly made our experience. We had been traveling for days with a toddler and baby, which is not the easiest for dining out and he made us feel so welcome. He engaged my daughter and got her crayons and paper to draw, so we could enjoy our pints and meal. The mussels, halibut and sea bass were exceptional. The Guinness was also one of the best pints of Guinness during our whole stay in Ireland. Thank you Eddie and Anthony’s for an excellent dinner!
The cozy environment and the friendly service made my lunch experience exceptionally delightful. The soup and burger were phenomenal. It’s a must stop for sure.
Sorry, but this didn't live up to the reviews for us. While everything looked amazing, the pesto pasta was extremely bland and the little crab on top was very touch to get the meat out of. Service was uncomfortable and we truly felt like we weren't wanted there which was the first and only experience like that in our 2 week trip to Irleand. It wasn't horrible, but definitely not worth the high price.
