We shou... read more Really, really, really bad food and wine. The meat looked old and tasted as such, the mixed salad was terrible: lettuce only and seemed to start to rot. We should have been warned: no guests and less than half of the restaurant's tables were set. Service was not to be found. Couldn't wait to leave. I am not joking: Stay away from this place!

The staff certainly go out of their way to please. On the first night we ate swordfish which was absolutely wonderful moist and perfectly cooked. On the second evening we had the local bean pasta and salads. The meals were really good value for money. There was no 'menu ' as such and we were given a choice of foods available each evening. The choice was not huge but sufficient. The dining room of this hotel is huge but retains a friendly feel even when only a few people are in it which was the case on both nights that we were there. We would definitely return for a basic, inexpensive meal in extremely friendly surroundings.
