Contribute FeedbackLocated in a vibrant neighborhood, this local Asian restaurant offers a welcoming ambiance and a BYOB policy, making it a budget-friendly dining choice. While the sushi menu may be limited, patrons appreciate the freshness and quality of the fish. However, some dishes, like the Arisu and Mango-Tango rolls, leave a bit to be desired in flavor compared to expectations set by the chef’s previous establishment. Overall, with decent lunch specials and friendly, if somewhat inattentive, service, this restaurant remains a solid option for casual dining in the Freehold region, despite some variability in dish quality.
I attempted to make a reservation using OpenTable, but it showed no availability except between 1-3. When we arrived at the restaurant, they were unaware of OpenTable. The edamame, salad, and soup were all overly salty. The sushi was average at best. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The lunch special with rolls and nigiri is fantastic!
The food at this restaurant would probably get 3 1/2 to 4 stars; they have good lunch specials for under $10. The produce and fish were fresh and delicious, although the Miso soup was a bit saltier than I prefer. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family and would definitely come back for another meal.
Great place and food but I seen people leave because servants been unavailable for 20 minutes after people set down, due to overcrowding.
We were greeted when we arrived and seated right away. The ambiance was very nice with high ceilings and the air-conditioning was great. There was classical music playing in the background, not our taste. The waiter was terrific! He was super friendly, helped us with the menu items that had no descriptions, and made suggestions. The gyoza soup had a very nice smoky taste and the dumplings were great. We ordered special sushi rolls and regular. The sushi was super fresh. And after we were finished, the waiter brought us a sweet fruit dessert of melons. We will definitely go back. If you like sushi, definitely feel free to try this place. Bon Apetit!
