Englewood is filled with good food spots and this one fits right in. It looks like an italian market that serves pizza, sandwiches, and a lot of other items. The palermo was my go to and it was nicely done. They do microwave some food to heat it up which I am not the biggest fan of. I also tried the meatballs and they were good. The meat had good flavor and sauce added a nice acidity. The pizza was homemade and I wil... View all feedback.
What Donna A doesn't like about Bartolomeo Italian Delicatessen:
Warning: Watch out when you order from this place. The prices on their online menu and their email confirmation of their prices are NOT what you get charged. They deliver the food and change the prices after they confirm them. Always adding one dollar here and there. They also change their delivery fee by a dollar. They are rude and don't really care about customer service. Word of advice, update your prices so that... View all feedback.
You go in, people are friendly, the atmosphere is chaotic in a good way, and there is a huge selection of things to get. If you are hungry, a three lb salad will be right in your wheelhouse. This is a gold standard for an Italian/lunchtime deli in the area.
Really good. I had the Robert Dinero sandwich. Chicken cutlet broccoli Rabe with mozzarella and balsamic vinegar. Bag of salt and pepper chips and two grape snapples
Other than the two cashiers giving me the look of death the place was over all clean and the pizza guy was nice too. I'd go back for sure.
Im here at 6:45 pm. I see you closed at 7 pm. Called before. I arrived here 15 minutes before they just locked the door in front of me and from the other side of the door she said is closed. I drove 25 minutes to get here. Very rude of you.
Prices are extremely reasonable, their pasta dishes are tremendous value. We have never been disappointed. Sometimes I order their pizza kits, they give you an entire quart of cheese, and tomato sauce! I use that kit to cook food all week. Probably the best deli ever.
