This beautiful pub located along the A272 was a delightful find. We didn’t get a chance to visit on a Saturday afternoon, but the experience was still wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered an impressive selection of vegan options—more than most pubs—and the dishes were fantastic. The pumpkin madras was especially delicious! We had a very good meal in a spacious, pleasing environment. the pub has set excellent Kovid safe measures to place and place and we were very good to pay attention to the friendly and helpful staff. we had a home cooked chicken and hame cake with seasonal veg and a very tasty dig. the menu is first class pub food and we will definitely be back.
Hands down THE BEST FISH n CHIPS we've EVER had and we've had A LOT of fish n chips!! ALL the food was exceptional. QUALITY PUB, excellent food and drinks, super friendly staff and easy parking, which is always a plus. 5 STARS
Greeted by staff in masks, to protect their customers, even in 30C+ heat. Food was great, my wife had a lovely risotto, my son chicken goujon and I a steak. All were tasty and the dessert was good too. Highly recommended. Also there was a disabled toilet but my son didn't need to use it.
This is a great gastro pub. Excellent food, good prices and friendly staff.
Great food and service. Really friendly staff and menu choice is good. We were very impressed and feel lucky to live locally.
