We come here every week with our colleagues and we love the reception we get. The people behind the bar are so friendly. There’s a barmaid who I believe is called Taylor and she always caters to our needs and makes special arrangements to ensure we all feel welcome and happy. What michael w doesn't like about The Ridgeway Tavern:
Service was friendly and overall the food was good but my upgraded sirloin steak was awful completely undercooked (which they did fix) and full of fat and gristle, definitely can 't recommend that although it might have been a one off issue. Lovely lunch with a friend. Great atmosphere and good menu. Staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful.
Father’s Day lunch for 4 booked lunch. Very pleasant behind bar service and our special request for a secluded table fully met. Throughout the meal all service was timely friendly and helpful. The food was good.
‘s. Good table for 7 of us in nice position. Always excellent service from the moment we arrive. Took a large order without any problem. Food arrived all together. Steaks were perfect and just as ordered. Staff always ask if everything is okay. ‘s. Child’s burger was very hard. Also they always seem to toast the bun which makes it too hard to bite into. No problem with changing and the new one was good. All in all we always enjoy our family lunches at The Ridgeway.
